Book Review: The Rebound Bet by Kaylee Spring

The Rebound Bet by Kaylee Spring

I received a free electronic copy of this book via Voracious Readers Only. All thoughts and opinions shared are my own.

After the end of another lackluster relationship, Beth takes Ruby to a bar to cheer her up. They make a bet that Ruby has to pick up the next guy who walks in the door. Enter Nathan. His friend Jonathan had the same idea to bring Nathan to the bar to cheer him up and maybe get him laid. Will Ruby win the rebound bet?

Explicit Content Warning: As implied by the words “Sweet Sexy Short” and the image on the cover, this book contains sexual content. If you don’t like reading sex scenes, don’t read this book.

This book is very risquĂ©. There’s definitely some voyeurism and some risky business involved. It all works though. I could definitely see this happening in real life. I’m not a bar going person (even pre-pandemic) but I wouldn’t be surprised if people bet their friends to try to pick up a certain person. Ruby got lucky that a hot guy walked in and not some old creep like the others in the bar. This is a fun little story that takes less than an hour to read and might even make some readers feel a little bit braver about approaching that hot guy at the bar. You never know,

The Rebound Bet by Kaylee Spring is for anyone who likes steamy romances or is new to the genre and wants a bite size story to try it out. It’s length is perfect to fit almost anywhere in your stay at home schedule.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you have a lovely day!
