Book Review: Enter at Your Own Risk by Sandra Alex

Enter at Your Own Risk by Sandra Alex

I received a free electronic review copy of this book via Voracious Readers Only. All thoughts and opinions shared are my own.

Enter at Your Own Risk by Sandra Alex is a steamy romance told from the alternating points of view of Wade Ford and Kendra MacGregor. Kendra works pro bono law cases while studying to take the bar exam for the second time. Wade, with his passion for music, is the only Ford brother yet to receive his inheritance and is stuck playing in low rate bars. The two meet by chance at a bar where Wade is playing. Kendra is out for her friend’s bachelorette party, and very irritable, having recently dumped her cheating boyfriend. As drama ensues in would-be rockstar Wade’s life, the pair goes from hating each other, to friends, to more than friends.

Explicit Content Warning: I’m starting with the warning because this book has sexual content beginning in the first chapter. There is a lot of sex, and it is very descriptive. This book is not for the faint of heart when it comes to sexuality.

The story itself is really well thought out. There are a few different storylines that run alongside each other and also fit together really well. Wade’s life, Kendra’s life, the friend’s wedding, and even some criminal activity are tied together seamlessly. No loose ends here. The book is also written beautifully. The descriptions allow you to imagine every scene and feel every emotion. The language is appropriate to the characters’ personalities, and it’s interesting to what the characters develop as the story progresses. I was fully sucked into the story and just waiting to see how everything unfolded.

I would recommend Enter at Your Own Risk by Sandra Alex to anyone who likes a drama-filled romance and can handle a lot of intercourse.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you have a lovely day.
