Book Review: Ethan & Juliet by Marla Holt

Ethan & Juliet by Marla Holt

I received a free electronic review copy via Voracious Readers Only. All thoughts and opinions shared are my own.

Ethan & Juliet by Marla Holt is a second-chance romance told from the alternating points of view of Juliet Hawthorne and Ethan Harvey. Juliet is a nursing grad working at a birth centre and finishing her midwife certification. Ethan is an OB/GYN who specializes in high-risk cases and hates midwives. The two haven’t so much as thought about each other in the four years since Juliet’s life shattered during her final year of nursing. When the two suddenly meet again in Ethan’s ward, sparks fly. Will the past come back to bite them, or can these two opposites come together as one?

SO MUCH DRAMA! Two medical professionals with conflicting viewpoints but can’t stay away from each other. The continually resurfacing of a cheating ex-boyfriend. Family issues and a best friend’s mistake. Everyone gets caught in the mess of the past to try to make a better future. There is plenty of romance as well between disputes, both gentle love and heated lust.

Explicit Content Warning: There are several, very descriptive sex scenes in this book. Being about two people in gynecology and the like, proper terms are used for all body parts. This may soften the scenes for some or make it worse for others, so just be aware. If you don’t like sex in books, don’t read this one.

The story itself has a good pace to it and has some realism to it. Everything that takes place fits in and adds to the plot and the characters. Nothing is just hanging loose as a random event. If you like romance, drama, and hot doctors, I would recommend giving Ethan & Juliet a read.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you have a lovely day.
